We are very excited to announce a new series of events where a local artist will present and discuss their work and, following a specially created three course menu (with a glass of wine), an original work of art by the artist will be presented to every diner joining us.

Glynn Thomas will explain printmaking techniques and will be printing an etching on his mobile press, demonstrating the unique processes used to produce one of his original prints. Signed copies of Glynn’s book, East Anglia: A Different Perspective will also be available to purchase.

Each diner can choose from one of two prints created especially for the evening. Both pictures are views of Woodbridge — one is from The Galley upstairs window and entitled St Mary’s Woodbridge, the second is called Tide Mill Window, both pictured below.

The cost of this exclusive evening is just £75 per person. When you book your table, please let us know which print you would like to receive for each diner joining us, and when you would like to dine — there will be two sittings to choose from at 7pm and 8pm.

You may ask for your print to be framed for an additional charge of £27 per picture. Both limited edition prints and will be available after the event from the artist for £55 unframed, and £82 framed. They will both be available to view at The Galley from Friday.

Supported by local businesses, The Galley, The Cake Shop and Friday Street Farm, What’s Tasty continues the legacy it began last year by bringing together and showing off the fabulous produce made by local companies including; Stokes Sauces, The Woodbridge Tide Mill, Petite & Sweet chocolates, Woodbridge Kitchen Company, Damian’s cut flowers, to name just a few.

Organised by volunteers from Choose Woodbridge, this event promises to provide a delicious day out for all ages and a great way to talk to local producers, learn more about their products and taste the fabulous foods that originate on our doorstep.
